After dining at Juniper several times, it was disappointing to have a terrible experience last night with our server. After not receiving our wine until we were half way done with our meals, we told our server that we decided to just order a glass of wine instead of the bottle. She then said that she would cover it. It was a $150 bottle of wine that we were not going to have since we weren't going to be able to fully enjoy it. But when she said she would cover it, we said, well at least let us try a glass because we were very excited about it. Our server then ignored us the rest of the night, only returning to refill our glasses. We ended up finishing the wine, and she fully charged us for it. I feel like we were lead into a $150 charge under false pretenses. This is all after waiting forever for the wine, having to ask for it again, remind her again of the name, remind another server of the name, wait some more AND tell her we no longer wanted it. It was all very strange. While the food was delicious, the experience left a bad taste in our mouth.

I can confidently say that this restaurant stands as the pinnacle of dining experiences in the area. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality that instantly makes you feel at home. The food is absolutely phenomenal. Each dish is a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and expertly crafted. But what truly sets this place apart is the outstanding service. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure every guest's needs are met, and they do it all with a genuine smile. I love the fact that if you come back, they will remember what you like. The atmosphere is magical and vibrant! I must give a special shoutout to the manager/owner whose welcoming personality truly sets the tone for the entire establishment. His passion for hospitality shines through in every aspect of the restaurant. Thank you, Juniper family, for consistently delivering an unforgettable dining experience. You've made my time in Vail truly special, and I can't wait to return for another delightful meal.

we arrived a couple of minutes early for our reservation and were told our table wasnt ready yet. the host was rude/unfriendly. we were seated 15 min after the time of our reservation. we eat out often in Vail/Steamboat Springs - two busy resort townsand cant even remember a time I had a reservation and was made to wait to be seated. waiting a few minutes wouldnt be too bad if they have a place for you to wait inside the cozy restaurant. but their waiting area is outside the restaurant where it is drafty and cool from doors being open repeatedly by people entering to dine at a neighboring restaurant. after sitting for a few minutes I went to wait inside the restaurant. I was asked if Id been helped by 3 or 4 very nice, friendly staff and one offered me a seat at the bar while I waited. I declined because my boyfriend was still waiting outside the restaurant and I wasnt going to sit at the bar without him and there was not a spot for both of us. A couple without a reservation arrived and I was told - maam you need to move so I can check other people inumm wouldnt be standing here if I had our table which should have been ready when we arrived. the couple without a reservation was seated almost the same time we were. my suggestions 1) fire the host from Saturday night 2) be prepared on time for reservations 3) at the very least, if you need a few minutes to get a table ready, make sure there is space at the bar for guestsif there isnthave their table ready!!! all of the other staff I encountered were wonderful. Our waitress was lovely. the food was incredible. unfortunate that we didnt have a perfect experience otherwise. I probably would have given this place another chance but there are so many incredible option in Vail and Beaver Creek. and Im unimpressed by the owner responses to negative reviews - extremely unprofessional and not respectable. not sure if well be back.
