We Tie The Knots

Where do I even start when talking about how hiring Cammye from We Tie The Knots was the best decision we could have ever made?!? We met Cammye back in August of 2019 right after my husband and I got engaged. Cammye helped us plan our wedding for August 2020 with the best vendor recommendations and overall the smoothest and most pleasant process. Within 6 months we had most everything done and we were feeling great. When COVID-19 started making its impact on the world and wedding industry in early 2020, Cammye did not hesitate to communicate with us regardless of her lack of control in the situation to help ease our concerns and talk through potential options. While she completely left the decision in our hands, she was 100% supportive and confident in whatever we decided and made the decision to postpone our August 2020 wedding that May to September 2021 as easy as it could possibly be. Many of our friends and family had horrible experiences through their postponement and we truly could not have been luckier to have Cammye during that time. She seamlessly got all of our vendors rebooked for the following year for Labor Day weekend nonetheless and handled absolutely everything. She was always on top of communication with vendors and handled every single concern or question we had along the way. She was in our corner and we always felt her main priority was to ensure we got what we wanted and that we were happy. On top of all of this, she’s just the best person! I loved all the extra time I got to spend getting to know Cammye. She’s hilarious and has a heart of gold! My family truly adored her and our wedding day was beyond anything we could’ve ever imagined! She brought our dreams to life and I still can’t believe how beautiful everything was that day. I knew I could trust her with my vision and she blew it out of the water. We have already recommended her to some of our friends and will continue to recommend Cammye every chance we get. Our wedding simply would not have been possible without her and I’m forever grateful to her for everything she did for us over the last two years. The Gappas love you Cammye!!!

Christyn was our wedding planner for our October 2020 wedding and she was nothing less than spectacular! She really listened to what was important to me as the bride and then helped advocate for what I wanted with other vendors. In fact, our wedding venue was against having a stage because of logistical issues, but that didn't stop Christyn! She kept working with them until the very last minute and I got the stage I wanted just three days before the wedding! More than that, she helped bring our vision to life, was calm, flexible and FUN (not to mention she did all of this while we were dealing with COVID and multiple restrictions). I can't say enough good things and would recommend Christyn and We Tie The Knots to any bride! THANK YOU CHRISTYN!!

Christyn and her team have been a pleasure to work with at various events I have attended over the years, both for my own family and other wedding related events. They design the most beautiful spaces, bring together the best vendors, and truly connect with their clients. Highly recommended.

This was an unforgettable experience especially during a year like 2020. Cancelations, postponements, venue changes, etc. CHRISTYN WILKINS was someone we will never forget. She never stressed out, was always on point. She turned a vision into a reality beyond expectations, all while being pregnant! She is something special and would recommend her and We Tie The Knots to anyone.

My husband and I got married on January 11, 2020. I have been putting off writing this review ever since because frankly, our experience with Christyn was so unpleasant that after our wedding, we didn’t even want to deal with or think about it. Overall, we were extremely disappointed in the level of service we received from her. Christyn took steps to contact me after I posted this review. I've since edited my original post, removing specific examples that contributed to our experience because I don't feel it's worth anymore negativity or rehashing further. I was extremely excited to work with Christyn after our first consultation. However, once we got into the planning process, more than once, she brought us only one vendor recommendation. When we asked for additional options, we often felt met with hostility. When we were presented with more than one option, we felt pushed toward the most expensive choice. We regularly felt that Christyn was not making an effort to stay within our budget. (Edit: We were very happy with the majority of the vendors we landed on and left those individuals glowing reviews. Unfortunately, this does not change our experience communicating with Christyn during this part of the planning process.) When I voiced an opinion or expressed a concern, I felt she frequently responded defensively. I was never looking to blame anyone or cause trouble, I was just a bride who wanted help understanding the process. It reached a point where I was afraid to communicate with her at all, asking my husband or mother to step in. At one point, our florist (who was amazing) seemed to notice that I was uncomfortable voicing my opinion and told me not to be afraid to tell her what I wanted, after all, it was my wedding. If you’re still reading, I imagine you get the point. From the reviews, it’s clear others had very different experiences with Christyn which I'm glad to see although I still don’t know why ours was so negative. Based on our experience, we would recommend not working with Christyn if you would like to avoid negativity in your planning process.
