Ecology Solar

When starting this process, we did what I assume most people do. Start with quotes from a bunch of companies and go from there. That’s when our experience with Ecology hit a different level of professionalism at a personal level. They will be the first to tell you they are not one of these huge corporate solar companies invading CO. They are locally owned and quite obviously enjoy what they do. No high pressure sales, just knowledgeable people who were there when I had any questions. From start, thank you Ben, to install crew (thank you Jim and team, to finally Lorenzo making sure our system was functioning how intended. Our Enphase panels and monitoring system are producing amazingly. Recommended highly!!

I had the best experience with Ecology Solar! They helped me with a botched solar install from another company, which caused 2 roof leaks, among many other issues. We are confident that we have a perfect solar install on our roof now thanks to Ecology Solar. Ben was so helpful as the initial contact employee to get the process rolling, and the rest of the team that came out to the house was amazing too. Jim and his crew were top notch! They ALWAYS arrived on time, not 1 minute late ever! They invited me to join in on their morning prep meetings to discuss the plan and any challenges or problems they anticipate. The team always informed me of the problems they encountered (the other solar company caused) and the remedy to fix them. I actually missed them when the job was done. I kind of feel like they are family now and I should send them a Christmas card every year. Look no further for a solar company, just call Ecology Solar. THEY ARE THE BEST!!

I cannot comment on the skills of Solar Ecology's installation or the environmental implications of their work vs others. I am beyond disappointed that the price quoted to me was $3650 lower than what I paid, approximately. I paid approximately $14,000, was quoted approximately $10,500. There are a list of other $-related issues of which I was not aware but much less important: For example, I'm embarrassed to admit that I didn't realize that my Xcel bill includes gas AND electric, and solar only takes care of electric. I have no idea if I made the right decision to go solar but I'm certain I do not recommend Ecology Solar. I will never receive the tax rebate.

I purchased my residential rooftop solar system through Ecology. Nichole and Ben were extremely knowledgeable and helped to build/revise a design plan that fit my best solar profile since Ecology is only company I found that carries multiple panel brands. Lorenzo was fantastic as a project manager and very responsive to any questions/updates. The installation team was on-time, diligent and cordial throughout the process. The team managed everything with the power company and this could not have been any easier for me; all while being the absolute BEST PRICED of the ~20 quotes I obtained. (half the price of some of the largest companies even with a larger system!) Absolutely would and have recommended Ecology to anyone looking at solar near Denver.

I recently requested an assessment and help in increasing my knowledge from Ecology Solar for my middle size home in North Boulder. I was impressed by Ms Ovens patience in explaining how to increase energy independence, and reduce my carbon footprint in my journey through the world. I am an immigrant and she was so culturally competent, professional and with a magnificent sense of humor that created an easy and enjoyable experience in considering switching to full solar energy.
