We visit this place often but will not be going back. They have gone up on price more than most places. When I went to inquire about our food since people who ordered minutes after us were getting theirs before us, the guy putting the plates together decides he wants to call me out in front of the whole place about my patience, when we were told 20 minutes but had to wait 34 minutes. Ate our food and left. We will miss Tampa, she is awesome.

It had been over a decade since I last ate at G&B so I wasnt sure what to expect. I am very glad I came back. The fried fish was tender on the inside and hot with a perfect crunch on the outside. It seems like they really focus on the quality of their food. I think the price is very good for the size and quality of the fish. Although the wait to get the food after ordering was almost 10 minutes, it was well worth the wait. Based on this experience I will be back sooner than 10 years.

A little pricey for being fish and chips, but dang is it good. Definitely worth it - delicious crispy fish. The clam chowder has ample clams and is pretty thick, would highly recommend. Update** Notice the price in the review below...now it's $74...and shrimp are 1/2 size smaller. This is a self serv place. It's good but not That good. (Side note) we ordered were told 20min Waited for 42min , noticed people who ordered after us were served & went to inquire then was sarcasticly told by cook "thanks for your patience" twice. My wife and I had 2 fish and chips baskets with 2 beers about $36 for dinner. I've been there 2 times now.
