The management here is very unfriendly, unprofessional and demonstrated little care for its residents. After setting up an appointment, for when my mother was in town from out of state, the manager showed us only the common area and rushed off to meet with the "bug sprayers." By chance, my mother knew someone in the building and we visited her. The poor woman had gnats in her hair- when the terminator appeared, and she asked them about it, they said, "We're just here for the bed bugs." As we sat down to talk to my mom's friend, she explained that the management was not at all responsive and only interested in new residents until after they signed their contract, which includes $6k+ non-refundable deposit (called some other fancy word I can't think of). Still, with the prospect of a downtown independent living apartment, my mother reserves a one bedroom- given to somebody else because residents have priority. I suspect it was really because they have no professional ethics and can't be bothered to keep a wait list. Thankfully for me as the place was horrifying and I can't imagine what else goes on there that I would find out about if my mother did live there. I therefore give them one star- you've been warned. Also, disclaimer that this visit was several years ago, so it's been awhile. Cross your fingers that the management has changed.
