Builder of non-custom homes with poor customer relations. Once the sales agreement is signed you simply become a number in the queue. From contract date to completion the project took 18 months, despite being told the home would be build and finalized within about 1 year. Exterior landscape contract deadlines were not met, mainly due to Koelbel focusing on developing new properties.

Based on service and communication, I would never buy a home again from this company again. After agreement on terms, they called and increased the price of the home based on their costs. After that we were told the home would be completed in 6 months or so. We've had normal construction and city set-backs, but getting a straight answer or timeline from their construction team is incredibly difficult. We are continue to be led on and not told the whole truth. Not to mention, we've been through 3 sales managers and 2 construction managers in just the last few months and high-level management rarely gets involved unless their is a major customer complaint. I can't complain about the quality of the home - they are doing a good job - but for the price we are paying, asking for the truth and a timeline should be standard.
