Parkside OBGYN & Medical Spa: Dr. Beth Roland, MD

I would not go here if you care about your health at all. The Dr did not listen to my concerns, did not listen to symptoms and had an agenda. I would assume she gets kick backs for every IUD she puts in someone as that was the only option with her. I would strongly suggest this doctor get continuing education for bedside manner and how to help women with out prescribing debilitating birth control. I went back to my pcp that recommended her, told her all of this and begged her to never recommend this dr to other patients.

I never leave reviews, but I have to say I was nervous about my apt because I read some negative reviews. I’m SO happy I ignored them and I went regardless because I could not have had a better experience! I walked in, and the receptionist was so friendly and welcoming. I was seen right away. And I am OBSESSED with Dr. Roland. Hands down my favorite OB of all time. She was so kind, compassionate, non judgmental and really listened to my concerns. I felt like I could tell her anything. I walked out and immediately recommended her to two of my friends looking for OBs!

If you aren't going for skin care products or IUDs, then don't bother coming here. That seems to be all that interests the doctor. Read all of the bad reviews, they pretty much sum up my expearience for 11 years. I'm not sure why I kept going, and it's only gotten worse the last couple of times I've gone. I won't be returning. If you go, be prepared for a toxic environment. Luckily the wait is longer than your time spent with her. She definitely makes it clear that she is only worried about getting paid. Also, the walls are paper thin, so you can hear her with other patients. Clearly she has some patients that she likes and some she doesn't. Either way, you have no privacy and a 50/50 shot at getting respect.

I thought my first visit with Dr. Roland was great. She took the time to explain everything and made me feel comfortable. The receptionist was very nice as well.
