Drum Lessons in Denver

My nine year old son was studying at another music studio but we felt it was time to seek a teacher who would be able to help our son to the next level of Drumming. Lane teaching style is intuitive to exactly what our son needs for both fun and Precision drumming. Our son has quickly advanced to a new level of drumming with the added benefit of learning how to read music. Lane’s side-by-side teaching style has been the key for our sons lessons. I’m really glad we met Lane and are benefiting from his dedication to teaching kids music.

Lane is a quality teacher and musician. I did the introductory drum lesson with him and found Lane to have patience, very good communication, and his support was very positive in the way he talked and gave pointers and instruction on every aspect of playing the Snare Drum. I would highly recommend Lane as an instructor, and a genuine person with a great attitude.

I have taken lessons from a few different teachers and really like Lane's laid back and just have fun with it approach. Right away he just talked to me and got a feel of my style and what type of music I like and that made it easy as to where he would steer the ship. I also really liked how every lesson was something different and not just more of the standard lessons. Also, the location he is at is not your typical 4x6 room in a music store by any means. There are 2 nice kits so he can play with you and he has you wearing headphones so he can communicate with you via microphone which I thought was great. He also emails you what you went over and what to practice. I would highly recommend Lane to anyone wanting to improve in a great and relaxed set up.

When I was looking to take drums lessons in Denver, I was referred to Lane and couldn't be more impressed/satisfied. Not only with his professionalism, but the time he took to understand what I wanted to learn and how I wanted to learn it. Our lesson plan revolves around bands I love (metal/punk) and hope to emulate. I look forward to my weekly lessons. Thanks Lane!

Lane is a fantastic drum teacher. He engages with his student at all levels and makes the lessons a joyful learning experience. The set-up is very good with four drum sets, headsets, large screens etc. Only positive things to say!
