Family Movers

Referred to Family Movers after my initial referral was too expensive. I have never seen two gentlemen work so expeditiously to get the job done! Even when they wrrived at my move to address and the service elevator was already bein gused, they huffed it up the stairs! Thank you, guys and I'll be sure to refer you to others that are moving!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This mover never showed up for our move. So unprofessional and inconsiderate. What type of people do this and leave people hanging? We scheduled 2 weeks prior to our move, they called to confirm the night before to be at our home 9am the next morning and after waiting for hours we began to panic! We left numerous messages without a word back with any excuse. We had to be out that DAY! Luckily after calling around Road Scholar Movers helped us and sent 2 movers later that afternoon! Thanks to them we were able to be out on time.

I went with Family Movers based off a recommendation from my boss who has used them 3 times for moves. The guys were nice and the move was efficient but they broke my $1500 TV in the move. I understand things happen but they tried to put it back on me and now they will not answer any calls or voicemails in regards to the issue. When they were here the guys saw the TV damaged after the move and said they would talk to the owner Armando and that they would take care of it. By the end of the move they said they were just drivers and I had to talk to Armando, they also said I signed a .60 per pound of damage reimbursement. I refused to sign the ending contract that released them of liability because they broke the TV. I don’t know if it was dropped or it shifted in the truck but regardless they did nothing to remedy the situation. Armando is no responsive even after I have paid my invoice in full and tipped both guys. I’m not mad about the TV but the way this has been handled is terrible for a small business that gets clients based off word of mouth. Not only are they not doing anything about the damage they caused, they are not even following there own contract of .60 per pound (which for a TV is nothing). I would not recommend them because of the way they have handled something they caused. Even a call back just to talk through and apologize would have appeased me but nothing has been done.
