I lived here from June 26th 2017 to December 7th 2017. I lived here with my 2 year old son, 9 year old step daughter and my husband. we first moved in because we went homeless. THEN my husband lost his job and we had no way of getting a job and being able to keep paying dor this motel daily. we ended up sitting on i70 and Vasquez with a sign asking for help to pay our motel. WE were very very blessed and from July to December the kind people in this city and everyone else who helped coming off i70 and Vasquez, i70 and Brighton and i70 and Colorado Blvd helped us keep our motel room! Yes they have roaches, bed bugs and the place is very dirty. but we had no choice but to stay here. The owner and managers are very very nice and understanding!!!!! very helpful with us as we were homeless and didn't make enough every single day for the rent. at one point we were a week behind in rent and a very nice family paid it off for us. Then CDOT Bought the place out and because we had been living there for so long we had got a settlement to move! CDOT gave us $108,800 to move out and get our own place! WE NOW OWN a beautiful 2013 Trailer. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I no longer have to stand on the corner and worry about paying this motel. and I thank everyone who helped us and the owners and managers! GOD BLESS THIS MOTEL 👏
