Although Larson Mental Health places a high value on all reviews and desires to respond to each and every one, HIPAA makes this impossible. We can, however, speak generally regarding our practice's policies. Our goal is to provide a high level of care in all of our appointments. Communication is the key to ensuring that all parties are aware of each other's needs and expectations. To this end, all of our policies are contained the New Patient Forms that each patient both initials and signs before the first appointment. We bill the insurance plan that is given to us by patients. It is the patient's responsibility to provide accurate information so that we can bill insurance in a timely manner. These policies include telehealth, credit card, No Show, Late Cancel, Insurance, Self Pay, and medication management policies. Taking the time to read the text in these forms will allow all parties to be on the same page regarding practice policies and care. Similarly, all of our patients receive multiple reminders via text and email for each scheduled appointment. All telehealth reminders include a link to the scheduled telehealth appointment for ease of access. Reading the text in these reminders will help to ensure that the appointment is scheduled at the time and in the place expected. Finally, we have a front desk coordinator available via phone all day to address more pressing concerns (ie. a patient having difficulty finding the office or in the waiting room). Having a live person available via phone can help to troubleshoot most situational hurdles.
