Welcome to Denver Health Radiology! We use state-of-the-art imaging equipment, including the latest and most updated technology and software. We have numerous multislice Computed Tomography (CT) scanners with the latest advanced imaging software, precise cardiac gating and other capabilities. We have high field strength Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) units offering clear images and quick scanning times. Our ultrasound units are top-of-the-line, and we continuously update and add to our interventional radiology suites. In total, Denver Health offers the best radiology equipment for our patients and our providers.

image Very disappointed in Denver health IR and nursing staff on 8th floor of Pavillion A. An in and out female procedure turned into an extended wait in recovery unit then an emergency surgery to repair my damaged bowel from the first procedure.They resected my small intestine. I've never been in so much pain in my life! Once on the regular unit I awoke to no call button. Twice two strangers tried to get me help. No one ever came. I had to pull my heavily medicated self up out of bed to try to find a bathroom. Two nurses standing in the doorway and both twice refused to assist me. My bladder was at the rupture point since I had been loaded up on IV's in surgery. I was forced to loose my dignity on their floor or go back into surgery for a ruptured bladder. I bled through my bandages because of them and no one bothered to check them. I was yelled and screamed at and insulted by the nurses. The charge nurse told them to put a bedside commode by me since I could get up by myself. I was a fall risk, heavily medicated and in severe pain after lifesaving surgery. My IV site was compromised and very red. They wouldn't pull the IV and instead neglected me then transferred me out to another unit. My IV ended up pustulating before anyone would change it. It was photographed and they filed a major incident report. Then they didn't give me a solid checkout time. Instead they packed me up and left me on the curb like a sack of poo sitting on a wheelchair, holding a bag of clothes and trussed up with a walker a bath chair and a metal O2 tank with 4hours of oxygen. I'm damned lucky to be alive. Good thing the house surgeons can clean up everyone's messes. Not the place to be if you have to stay somewhere. I even called 911 to transfer me to another hospital. They sent up a security guard to ask what was going on. They kept me there and gave me the patient advocate number. I was medically jailed.
