We very highly recommend Francisco and team, and will never use another landscaping company, these guys are simply the best! They are extremely responsive, fast, clean, some of the hardest working people I’ve seen, and their attention to detail is on point. We gave them an idea of what we wanted for our front yard landscaping project (complete tear out and re-do) and they went above and beyond and exceeded all of our expectations. I was in awe at how much they accomplished each day, how they left the job site (clean and organized), and how quickly they finished the job. You cannot go wrong by hiring these guys.

Francisco and his team went above and beyond with our backyard landscaping. They built a beautiful rock wall with boulders and it turned out just amazing!! We are so happy with our new backyard and enjoy spending lots of time out there. Thank you five star construction!

Francisco and his crews are simply the best in the area. They did a very large job for us last year after we moved into our new home. Not only did they do great work, they took care of our yard and left it every day like it was theirs keeping everything near and clean. They are fast, professional and friendly. If you don’t use them for your landscaping you’re making a mistake!

Over the summer we wanted to tear down our Woden deck and replace with stamped concrete and a pergola. Francisco was responsive and very easy to work with. The crew was respectful and started work consistently for the entire project. The end result was far better than what we had even anticipated. Absolutely recommend Francisco and Five Star!

After I had already spoken to several contractors, I called Francisco. He came out, listened to my now polished description of my landscape woes. I basically told him that other than a larger patio, fire pit and some trees, I didn’t have any idea what I wanted it to look like, just not this. He didn’t take any notes while we were talking. He explained that extending my gas line from my house to a fire pit would not provide enough of a flame and the fire pit would be disappointing and if I wanted a fire pit they would need to run a line to the main. He suggested stepping down my patio to make better use of my sloped yard and adding a seating wall around a fire pit, both ideas I had not even thought of. The very next day he emailed a complete illustrated landscape design plan to me. In this initial plan Francisco actually addressed every single issue I had mentioned. His design was much better than I could even envision. The illustration was high enough quality that I used it to submit it to the HOA design review committee. Francisco’s plan came with an itemized pricing of every element of the plan, options and prices for different levels of concrete finish, and a list of plants and trees that would be placed. I requested a few revisions to the plants he suggested to suit my personal taste, and he came back in a day with an updated landscape plan. I had asked about his schedule and he said he was scheduling a few weeks out. I figured that with the expected HOA review time and his schedule my landscape would probably take about 2 months to actually begin. After a wonderfully quick approval of the plan by my HOA, I let Francisco know that I was ready when he was, expecting another month before start. He called me in two days to let me know he had a large concrete job reschedule and could start on the following Monday if I was ready. I jumped on that chance. His crew showed up early Monday and got to work with the demo. I have to say I have never seen such a hard-working crew. The entire job they were working between 10 and 13 hours each day, and I could tell by the banter that they all got along very well. They jackhammered my path, pulled apart the paver patio, pulled out large railroad timbers, moved river rock and removed all the previous landscape elements. Then they poured a massive stepped down concrete patio, set a fire pit, built a seat wall with lighting, planted trees, plants and sod, and they completed all of that in about 2.5 - 3 weeks’ time. Multiple times while the project was in progress, Francisco personally called me to check if I had any concerns or questions for him. The transformation is night and day – what was an eyesore that I really hated is now a beautiful space that I really love and am happy to have friends over to enjoy it with. I can’t say enough good things about Francisco and his crew at Five Star Construction.
