The Saucy Noodle is the place to go for home-style pasta dishes, especially if you like tomato based sauces. There's nothing pretentious about this place, which is fine with me. And the staff is very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is that they sometimes skimp on the sauce but they're happy to bring extra if you ask.

I love the red sauce and sausage and meatball! Our first time and we did takeout. It was awesome!

Finally a good Italian restaurant in Denver!! We had an outstanding experience at the Saucy Noodle.
My husband and I dined here with my in laws, and collectively ordered the baked spaghetti with a meatball, the broccoli mac and cheese, a pizza and a Caesar salad.
The baked spaghetti with tomato cream sauce was absolutely delicious, and the meatball tasted the way my Sicilian grandmother used to make them.
My mother in law said the Caesar salad was the best dressing she had ever had in her life, and she has had quite a few Caesar salads over the years.
The pizza was excellent with fresh ingredients, and the broccoli mac and cheese was a grown up treat with a complex sauce that was delectable.
In addition to the food quality, the staff was friendly and helpful. Treated us like family. The atmosphere was comfortable and they had great music playing, as well. Overall it was a wonderful family gathering.
