Have fun being stuck with them due to geography. They LOVE billing WHATEVER they want to and providing GREAT (sarcasm) service

We were forced to use Hughesnet because there was no cable in our area. We don't stream or watch a bunch of movies, so we figured it was a safe option. There were times we'd be gone for two weeks, come home and somehow we would have already ran out of "fast" internet for the month. And the "fast" internet rivals dial up. We ended up using our mobile hot spots on our phones way more often than our Hughesnet service (which is what I recommend you do instead of paying for Hughesnet). In the end, the $280 cancellation fee turned out to be the best money we spent with Hughesnet.
