I would leave negative 5 stars if I could. I bought a home through Richmond American and went through American Home Insurance (AHI) for some home and auto quotes. They gave me a Nationwide quote for home and auto that was very reasonable so I decided to go with them. I had a terrible experience dealing with Nationwide so I decided to get another policy with another company, my policy with Nationwide was through AHI. It is very hard to get ahold of anyone on the phone at AHI and you are forced to leave a voicemail. Good luck getting anyone to respond to your voicemail and they are very slow to respond to emails as well. They made the cancellation process of my home and auto policy very tedious and difficult as I had to send multiple voicemails and emails just to get my policy cancelled. Save yourself the time and the headache and avoid dealing and doing any business with American Home Insurance. You will be grateful that you did. Who knows if my policy is even cancelled as they said it was. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. TERRIBLE SERVICE

Just wanted to add a policy to my existing account. No one responded to my calls or email. Moved to a different insurance agency with much better customer service.
