I loved it, rooms are big, fireplace & jaccuzi in room, atmosphere was amazing. Highly recommend for a long weekend, time alone with your significant other. Cozy but yet a romantic atmosphere.

In short: 1. Staff were nice 2. Cleanliness was not adequate 3. Breakfast was not great 4. Vending machines severely outdated 5. Bathroom had problem areas 6. Bed was okay In detail: Staff: Generally nice with interactive conversation, although sometimes not overly welcoming when just passing by. Cleanliness: My first room had a rather suspicious stain on the top cover (photograph attached). How the cleaning staff missed this when turning a room over is beyond me. I felt that room likely hadn't got the attention it needed. I talked to the front staff, showing photos. I was led to a room where I was given an armful of sheets. This was at midnight, why I was expected to correct the bedding was beyond me. However, the problem wasn't with the sheets (I didn't explore further..). When showed the image again, he seemed legit concerned and asked his partner to find me a replacement room. I appreciate that but it should have been the first solution, not expecting a new guest to remake the bed. The second room appeared to be in better shape. I would find on the second day however, a handful of used towels behind the nightstand. I discovered this when plugging in my phone to charge (photograph provided). From then on, I felt really uncomfortable in the hotel. I then witnessed a rather awful mess in the lobby, which trailed down two hallways and into the carpeted suite area (not photographed due to the source/content of the spillage). It took a very long time for a cleaner to arrive to handle the situation. When I tried to get to my room after it was cleaned, I found the cleaner didn't follow the trail of spill and missed half of it. I had to run back and ask him to check again. It went beyond where he stopped. When I left my room to leave for the day, I still saw stains on the carpet that weren't properly addressed. Third strike on cleanliness in less than 24 hours. One issue, I can give the benefit of the doubt, but beyond that, I can't get behind. I would also not advise using the coffee maker in the room, it's not clean (photograph attached). Breakfast: This was modified due to covid so I can't imagine this is something they can properly address. Breakfast had a 2 hour window to get a paper bag of food. Food allergies were not discussed, no preferences accommodated. The bag consisted of orange juice, a cupcake/muffin, apple, yogurt and granola bar. Not too bad until you realize it all sugar. The muffin was so sweet, I couldn't identity the actual flavour. Being lactose intolerant the yogurt was a waste. Coffee options also had no non dairy milk offered. Vending machines: I forgot to get a photo. They had a few, the stock was okay.. but it was cash only. Card accepting vending machines aren't a recent thing, I'd have hoped that would have been updated. Cash isn't a common thing to carry these days. Bathroom: It's not the worst bathroom but not the best. The toilet would take forever to finish refilling, super loud. The tub had a ton of scratches (photographed) which made me feel uncomfortable using it. The caulking also needed to be redone in areas of the shower (seen in video) Bed: The mattress was fairly comfortable. It came with 5 pillows. I'm a back sleeper and need a relatively low profile pillow and none of them were quite what I needed. However I did make it work. No major complaints here. A recommendation would be to have varying thickness of pillows but that's just a nice feature, don't think it's required. Overall, not the worst stay for a 3 star hotel, but not one I'll be returning to. The cleanliness was the deal breaker for me.
