Lutomski Stained Glass

When my mother's Tiffany lamp shade needed repair I started checking the internet to see who might be able to do the job. I soon found out that there are very few people out there who did this kind of work. But I did find a link to Bill and delivered the lamp to him. He did a great job of repairing the cracked stained glass and finished the work in a timely manner.

Called and set up appointment, they never showed, and stopped communicating. Very unprofessional, likely a fly by night operation.

I emailed Bill Lutomski and, even though he was on vacation, he responded that he could repair my tiffany lamp shade made by father and damaged in shipping to me. He called when he got home but said he was too busy to meet with me till the following week, which I completely understood. That was the last I heard from him. I called him a week later but he did not bother returning my call. I noticed another reviewer had the same experience so I didn't bother pursuing his services. Guess he can't handle the business side of his business.

About 3 weeks before moving out of our rental (and out of Colorado) we ended up needing to replace a few panes of glass in an antique built-in cabinet door. A local Colorado Springs company said they wouldn't be able to repair the glass quicker than 4 or 5 weeks because they outsource the labor to a workshop in New Mexico and would have to ship the door out and back. That wouldn't work for us. After checking out Bill's website I gave him a call, described the damage, and he was able to immediately quote a price. We dropped the door off at Bill's awesome at-home glass workshop, he confirmed the VERY reasonable price ($200 less expensive than the Colorado Springs company), and said he'd have the work done in two weeks. After only a week I got a call from Bill saying he'd finished fixing the glass and lead! The finished product was beautiful and very well done. Bill used antique glass to match the existing glass and matched the color and patina of the new soldering to the original. We were really pleased with the work! Bill is super friendly and awesome and he returned all my calls quickly. Definitely check out Lutomski Stained Glass!
