Ghosted. Bryan came out. Looked at our project and said he'd send us a proposal by end of week. He was very nice and I thought we had a good conversation. I didn't hear anything so gave it a few days into the next week. Nothing. Texted. Nothing. E-mailed the office. Nothing. Maybe the project was too big? Too small? Maybe our house is too old? No idea, because we haven't gotten any follow up. Oh well- we got ghosted.

After returning my first email, he never replied after that....probably stereotyping and prejudging if I could afford the project that I proposed to him.  That is too bad.

Unfortunately I can't even rate B-Line's and Bryan's performance other than it was like pulling teeth trying to get an estimate and quote. After 2 weeks of contacting, I finally was able to get Bryan to come out to create a quote for a few projects (Basement buildout, etc). Unfortunately, after he came out he was completely unresponsive and I have yet to hear from him for over 4 months despite me reaching out a number of times. Bummer.

We have worked with Bryan on a total of 3 projects. The first one was making an almost 100 year old structure livable. Not only is it livable but each day that we live in it we are overwhelmed with its perfection (in our eyes, at least). We were faced with new issues at every step of the project and Bryan had an amazing ability to deal with each one, whether it was structural, design or aesthetically related. He was always honest and totally transparent with all the work that had to be done and his crew was very competent. And that is why we asked him to take care of our other 2 projects. I got the recommendation for B-line from an online network of local moms. I am glad I did! Bryan was very responsive, trustworthy, and timely (even during the middle of the pandemic when labor and materials were all hard to come by). He finished our project on time, on budget, and to our satisfaction. I never expected to have such a great experience with a contractor.
