    Shamelessly dishonest. Avoid them at all costs. I had a 3 door stainless True merchandiser freezer that went out. I found a Maxxcold 3 door merchandiser freezer on their sales floor, which they represented as NEW, but had been ordered and delivered to an ice cream shop before they discovered it was not designed to run cold enough for that purpose. I paid $3790 for the freezer, plus tax and $125 to deliver. They offered to pickup my True freezer and sell it on consignment (thought it would bring about $2000 as it needed parts). Sound familiar? The new freezer DID NOT WORK at all after delivery. I called them several times, and they told me to call the manufacturer. Neither of them would fix the freezer, so I paid $500 to have it fixed (it was damaged on delivery). They said they would re-reimburse me. It has 2 been years of calls and emails, and I just did not have the time to run a small claims suit, which is what I should have done. They never covered the repair, or paid me for the freezer they took. They eventually blocked me and I gave up. TOTAL CROOKS WHO DESERVE TO BE SUED FOR THEFT AND FRAUD.

    Same as the most recent two. They picked up my oven claiming they would sell it on consignment. They've since blocked my number and I doubt I'll see any money from it. These guys are crooks and I will be contacting the authorities.

    I was in a bind and had called MULTIPLE different equipment companies. Gary and his crew were the only ones to help me out. And that's putting it VERY lightly. Gary had squeezed me in an already busy schedule to help me out, but our pickup took far longer than expected, putting him behind schedule. But, even facing a time crunch, I felt like I was their #1 customer. The moving team was absolutely wonderful and extremely respectful of our equipment. When I am ready to purchase, I know who my first call will be. Gary and the crew here at Platte Restaurant Equipment. Thanks again!

    I sold a fridge through these people 6 months ago. I have bugged them constantly for the last few months and have still not received a pay check. After calling countless times, they also simply never get back to me regarding this issue. At this point, I am going to assume I won't get my money at all.
