Mark Hammerberg

I am 45, and last 15 years, I can't live without pain, I can't sleep, I can't walk, I can't anything. But I was very scared to do this surgery. My life was terrible and I dicided to see the doctor. All my friends recommended to see 2-3 doctor's to have a couple opinions. Dr.Mark Hammerberg was a first doctor, and after I met him I don't think I need the second opinions. He was explain everything . I was done my surgery on April 2, 2019. , it's 6 weeks after, my live is change. I am so happy, my kids, my husband, my parents so happy because I don't have any pain. I can sleep, I can walk, I can do it everything I want. Now I can say dr. Mark Hammerberg is so amazing doctor, he very confident, he is carrying a lot of his patient. All his staff staring from him , his assistants, nurses, office staff very good. Thank you so much doctor to change my life. I highly recommend this doctor, just follow all his recommendation and trust him. Thanks again and again.

I met Dr. Hammerberg through an auto accident. He repaired my right hip from a astublar fracture. Then a couple of years later I had a total knee replacement. I can't say enough about what a great doctor and excellent surgeon he is. I owe my life to this man. I would recommend him to anyone who needs orthopedic care. He cares about his patients well being. That's for sure.

I was experiencing occasional right hip pain, especially when I was doing hip-related stretching exercises, and went to Dr. Hammerberg for an evaluation. His office is very welcoming, and the person at the front desk was friendly and attentive. Dr. Hammerberg spent quite a bit of time with me and performed a thorough investigation. He asked many questions about my hip and listened carefully to the answers. He then took an X-ray and let me know definitively that the cause of my pain was clear—I had severe osteo-arthritis in that hip. Even though Dr. Hammerberg is an orthopedic surgeon, he did not try to talk me into surgery, and I was impressed by his integrity. In fact, he told me that I could hold off many years-- perhaps even my whole life if I was fortunate-- because the level of pain I was currently experiencing didn’t justify a hip replacement. He gave me some great tips on how to minimize further damage, and I was grateful for the education. My experience with Dr. Hammerberg was most exceptional. I feel like I got very lucky in my choice of doctors and I won’t be going to anyone else!

My knee replacement went better than I expected...I healed faster than what they expected with minimal bruising or pain! He is a VERY GOOD Dr.! and Rose Hospital is AWESOME! I get my other knee done in Aug 2018!
