Shame on Dr. Polke for his malpractice. I had two failed dental procedures done by him back in 2011 and paid over $2k out of pocket (as a college student) only to find out a couple years later that my treated tooth had to be extracted due to a perforated root by strip. All that money for a crown, root canal and IV sedation went down the drain. Not to mention the bone loss I endured due to infection from the failed root canal. I paid extra for IV sedation because of extreme anxiety and ultimately I am even more terrified of having dental work done now than before. Thanks for nothing Dr. Polke. Happy to know that his license got revoked so this won't happen to anyone else.

I had started going to Dr. Kenneth Polkes office, back in I believe 2011. But I didn't have insurance. So I started back about two years ago, paying out of pocket, but it was always a different doctor. I didn't understand why. The last time I went for a cleaning and I explained to the "doctor" who looked really young, that I had chipped my tooth and just wanted it to be smoothed out. He took a quick glance and said "you need a filling". I said I just want it smoothed out. I have been a dental assistant for almost 6 years, it was a very very small chip. So thinking he was smoothing it out, after several minutes I was worried. He tells me "yeah we need to put a filling on that tooth". He gave me a mirror and my tooth was extremely short. I could not believe what just happened. My front tooth!!!! When I smile, people see my teeth!!!! Then when I got a filling on my lower right molar on a visit before that, I thought he had done the whole filling in my tooth and it turns out he only did one surface. They have a treatment plan saved on their computer saying two surfaces and they only did one surface. Charging my insurance treatment that wasn't fully done. I thought I trusted Dr. Kenneth Polke, but me and my son trust was broken!!!

We were pretty satisfied with the services which we've used for over a year. However, when our insurance changed we were assured it was accepted just the same so we continued with being patients here. To our surprise we were billed 100% for the last checkup/cleaning/etc. as our insurance denied the claim. What might have been a simple desk attendant mistake turned a basic visit into an unnecessary & frustrating expense. Not professional in the least!
