I must echo Cathy's comment that this man should NOT be in Pediatric dentistry. And her use of the word "torture" was SPOT ON!! I will have to admit my Child's experience was at least 5 years ago also. But I still have nightmares and guilt. And if he is anything like he was before, he will suggest you not be present during the procedure. DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD BE ALONE. He is too barbaric and insensitive for kids, your child needs you in that room.

Should not be in the pediatric field. Worst dental experience of my life and I have had extensive experience throughout the years with braces, surgery and other dental care. The treatment to my 2 year old son was completely unacceptible. Essentially, I watched as the doctor torchered him and spoke baby talk to him. Then, the fillings "dissolved" within months. When I brought this up with the doctor, he told me it was my responsibility to monitor the fillings. Luckily, we found a pediatric dentist who believes in true gentle dentistry. Do not take your child here.

I love Southmoor Pediatric Dentistry, and especially Dr. Bradley Smith. I was a patient from the age of 3 to 16. When I moved back from NYC to have my son, this was where we went for his first experience. We have been loyal patients ever since.
