Senora and Jig dont know what the $&@? They are doing. We just had the Wed night at 7pm beginning class. Mashing up Bachata, Cumbia, Salsa is not simply salsa ...awful class. They started late and they just dont know what the hell they were doing. Just because you took a few salsa classes doesnt mean you should bastardize standard dance forms all into salsa. Waste of money and time.

I am greatful for these two teaching me what they know. They instilled some great principles of dance I couldnt live without today. Take their classes!

Not sure what this Clyde guy is referring to on his response. I've been going to Senora and Jigs for roughly a year now and I'd have to say some of the best classes to take in town. No better place to come to if you're a beginner. It's a fun and structured atmosphere to learn the fundamentals of salsa and bachata. They offer a progressive level of teaching as to give the student the ability to grow in their craft. Also the level of knowledge and technical moves are second to no one in the Denver metro and surrounding areas. Come by and purchase a 3 month pass to see for yourself while keeping in mind that you get out what you put in. Thank you Senora and Jig for making me a more competent and confident dancer.

My girlfriend and I took a salsa/bachata class with Senora and Jig during the pandemic. They had us in their house but it was tastefully done and they were considerate and doing the best with what they could. They are nice and have a true passion for what they do and dance with style. My girlfriend and I did the beginners salsa/bachata class and felt comfortable as we had been dancing for several years prior but wanted to hone in on the technique. over the course of 3 weeks we learned several moves in salsa and bachata including the walk through and even a solo bachata dance. Overall, I think they did ok with their teaching but both my girlfiend and I felt that their teaching style detracted from our experience. They have a reliance on saying the steps out loud which makes listening to music useless and their pacing is off. Several times they wouldn't give the cue to start a move until the step prior which would make it hard to get back into the rhythm if you were a step behind. This happened several times. Also, we felt like they were a bit pedantic as several times they would stop us to show us how it was done and then immediately stop us mid step which would break our flow. This happened so much we started joking that we actually didn't finish any of the movements. So overall, they are professional and good but if you are used to dancing with more freedom and only the occasional stop for advice then maybe look elsewhere.
