Blinker

I don't know why anyone in their right mind would buy a car like this.

Originally I had a very pleasant experience purchasing a car through the blinker app. Even so that I went ahead purchased a 2nd vehicle through Blinker. Then in March 2019 I received notification that Blinker sold my loans to Flagship credit acceptance, a 1 star rated financial institution. Flagship has a horrible automated system that doesn't recognize my request. Then when im finally successful in getting transferred to a representative they are less then helpful. Worst part is that Blinker didnt transfer my gap insurance and now I'm upside down on my current loan. When I contacted Blinker and spoke with the supervisor Miguel to ask about transferring my gap insurance he refused to help and refused to answer any questions I asked.

I was sold an awful car for almost 3 times the market value. This app has no way to regulate prices or scams for which I was sold a barely functional car. They have no form of checking of the automobiles listed on their site. I would not recommend the service as the account verification is below par and the credit services is almost non-existant. I would recommend you use a whole plethora of other services for selling cars online before using Blinker.

My experience was wonderful til this month. I have 4 payments left to go and Blinker sold my financing to a one star rated finance company, Flagship Credit. I have been waiting for a letter from Flagship with an account number for 3 weeks. When I call, the automated system doesn't recognize me and there is never a representative available, and the system hangs up on me. This is awful. I should never have had to go through this. I was prepared to purchase a new SUV when this vehicle was paid off and I will NEVER use Blinker again.

I used Blinker a few years back to sell one of my vehicles. I'm potentially looking for a new vehicle so I decided to give the buying side of Blinker a try. Blinker approved me for financing but there were no cars available to purchase through financing. When I called their customer service I was told that they don't do financing. I told the agent I was preapproved by your company this morning. He told me it was a mistake and when I asked him for his name he hung up. I called back to ask for a supervisor and was told I would get a call back in 5min or so. I had to call back an hour later 3 different times. Then the mgr Scott who was supposed to call me back answered. He said that it was an error on thier end and they no longer offer financing until they get a deal worked out with another company. I liked thier business model but if they dont even offer financing what makes them different from Craigslist? That goes for the buyers and the sellers.
