SarahCare at DTC

When I started checking into a day care facility for my Mom, I made several calls and was almost at my wits end. Then I called SarahCare and spoke with Rebecca, the most important words she said that day were “We are here for your Mom “, which no one else had even mentioned. When we went to visit the facility, I was very impressed. It was clean and all the staff was very courteous and upbeat. On her “Trial Run”, my Mom was very skeptical, but when my brother went to pick her up her comment was “No, I’m not ready to leave”. From that point on, she makes a point to never miss a day at SarahCare. She speaks highly of all the staff and considers them all family. She really enjoys the outings. I had not realized that my Mom had never played pool until she was 88 years old; Thanks to SarahCare she has been given opportunities to go and experience things she never has before. As a family member, I enjoy coming to the quarterly meetings and putting faces with all the names of the people my Mom talks about. She has made several friends at SarahCare. Her doctors have said her involvement with SarahCare has really helped her as they exercise at least 2 times a day, which has helped with her balance and over all general health. Thanks to Rebecca on that first call, I realized we couldn’t have found a better place for my Mom. Your staff has become a special part of our family. I highly recommend this facility.

the staff here was very warm and inviting made us all feel comfortable. The programs they offer is wonderful and we think mom is adjusting well at this location
