Refuge Acupuncture

I found out about Refuge from my neighbor and their services for healthcare workers. I immediately felt welcomed and relaxed when I walked in the door. The office is beautiful and calming, staff is friendly and knowledgable and it works! I was having new and acute back pain and Caitlin explained the treatments she thought would be appropriate and after some cupping and acupuncture I was feeling much better. I love to learn about chinese medicine and Caitlin is very knowledgable and willing to teach. Refuge is a healing place.

A fundamental part of recovery, especially if you are an athlete. I personally get cupping and gua sha on niche areas that other things like massage and dry needling don’t work for. Love it!

LOVE this place! Best acupuncture experience of my life. I was visiting from New York exploring the fab area. Such an amazing find - gorg and calm, plus super professional - and I left centered and floating.

As a healthcare worker on the covid units, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to get stress relieving services for free with their recent promotion. I assumed since it was a free visit, it would be a quick in and out 30 minutes, generalized experience….. however it was quite the opposite. Michael was incredibly attentive, explained everything, and truly got to know me and how this session could benefit me the most. I was there for >1hr between the consultation, acupuncture, and cupping. He gave me strategies on how to deal with stress post-session, and talked through what adding acupuncture in my life would look like/do for me. You can definitely sense Michael’s passion for what he does! At the end we discussed Chinese herbal tea and he gave me a complimentary glass….. will definitely be purchasing!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! Thank you Refuge for this experience. I left in tears (positive tears).
