Amazing experience and what a great story about preserving Colorado's history. We took our kids (4 and 6y.o.) on the 15 minute underground tour with Scotty. He was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. Loved the flute performance in the mine!

Beautiful setting and remarkable tour! Scotty (with a y) was a fine tour guide and even blessed our ears with an impromptu (short) flute recital during the mine tour. The acoustics were superb. Contrary to what its name suggests, you should visit this mine the FIRST chance you get!

This is one amazing experience and you can pay to go in the mine to see all the different minerals. I can't wait to go back. Put this on your bucket list.
