Absolute dumpster fire. After attending the convention today, it was quite clear the Clinton supporters running the county convention Trainwreck designed with the thought of delays in mind. Going hours over the scheduled time and not even being close to finished? Really? This tactic was meant to disenfranchise working class democratic voters. Many registration tables did not have the complete listings of all the delegates. This led to most having to go through credential check lines. Those who have the mic spoke over other districts in favor of their district using the microphone. After the first recess, the do-nothings on stage, continued to embarrass themselves, with pointless rants or asking the crowd to sing, Stalling hours away so working-class citizens would not be able to attend the presidential straw poll. After THE ENTIRE FLOOR began getting hostile the speakers finally allowed for the rules to be suspended and the order to be changed to allow presidential straw poll to occur much earlier.. Since It was 4pm at this point! Of course this is probably what the Clinton back organizers wanted, since the rules are suspended they've been allowed non vetted alternates to additionally vote as delegates. What Dirty politics and an absolute embarrassment. I had my young daughter with me to experience this "democracy". Needless to say, I will not participate any further. I left shortly after the presidential straw poll, pretty embarrassing since other districts seemed to finish on time. If you wonder why voting participation is at all time lows, hold up the mirror Adams County Democrats!!
