ION Solar - Colorado Springs

While I dont respect any door-to-door companies this one is particularly aggressive. They try to present themselves as representatives of the utility company and are insistent that theyre not selling any thing. Ive tried on multiple occasions to tell them were not interested but they only leave once the confrontation level is escalated to an uncomfortable point. This is getting to the point of straight-up harassment.

These liars still owe me 935 dollars. They once tried to settle up with me for half. But that wasn't what's due for the flawless work I put in overtime to complete. They owe me 935, and I have not forgotten how terrible they treated me whatsoever three years later. I've been installing solar now for 14 years. Right is right. I am owed in full, and that is the truth.

Never called them, never did anything. Shows up on my door step to solicit and get lectured about why he ignored my "no soliciting " sign AND my "go away" sign. Ryde. Unprofessional. No.

This was an effortless process for my first time buying solar panels with Ion. The quality of service from the sales representative to the corporate workers was impeccable; I would choose Ion repeatedly. Robert Romanoski from Ion was one of the most genuine and down-to-earth sales representatives I have ever worked with. He helped give me the costs, timeline, and solar process effortlessly. Without all the fluff, his knowledge of the company and solar panels, in general, was excellent. I would only hope more people in sales could follow his lead. If you're in the market for solar panels, do not hesitate to go with Ion. They understand that using apps is necessary for today's society. It is so simple to utilize; I thought it would be a troublesome process. It turned out to be so easy! Go with Ion if you're considering solar; you will not regret it! It will be the best decision you made! Ask for Robert Romanoski as a sales representative to help you through the process! Even after receiving my solar panels, he still checked on me to make sure everything was running smoothly; he takes customer service to the next level!

They get 1 star because I have to. This company is awful. Our salesman was great and easy to work with but that is the only positive thing I can say about this company from start to finish. They have zero communication in regards to scheduling and following through with those times. They had to have the roof inspected twice because of the turn over in the company. I have had technical issues with breakers blowing and have not been able to get those resolved since my install in March. My panels were turned on about amonth after they were supposed to be. Every step of this process has been an issue with Ion and I would recommend any other company but this one for solar. **Update- 2 years later they have tried reaching out to me a couple times to edit this review and to see what they could do to fix this. I have been open to reasoning however, they call one month then nothing happens until the next call the next month. The communication and follow through in this company has continued to lack even when they are trying to fix it. I still would highly recommend using ANY OTHER COMPANY and will do so when we move in a few years and need more panels.
