Great food, one of the meals was a sesame ginger chicken and broccoli, which was wonderful in portion and taste. Also felt good knowing that everything in these meals are organic, and that the meat products are humanely raised and hormone free, which is something I was pretty much raised to look for. Would completely recommend!

Knows the foods I'm working to cut out and integrate for better health and vitality AND is flexible to accommodate ALL my dietary needs including food sensitivities and dislikes. The food is delicious and healthy. Add to that, the convenience of having it all prepared and delivered to my door so all I have to do is heat it up. I have been contemplating this service for a long time and am glad I finally took the leap. My only regret is that I waited so long to start!

Casey is so awesome to work with! Right away I knew she was a great match for me and my health goals. She truly cares about the whole person and it reflects in her work. I even live in Lakewood and will meet up with her halfway to be able to use her services. The food is delicious and shes so responsive to my messages. Cant say enough good things! Thank you!

Where to begin with this review? Kind of hard to describe just how awful of an experience we have had working with Mama Tried Meal Prep. To start, I would not trust this company with purchasing any long term program (paid in advance). She processed credit card payments against our credit card without authorization in the middle of the night. The business failed to refund those funds in a timely manner. We actually ended up closing down the credit card account because of her repeated attempts to charge our card. At this point, we stated we no longer wanted to continue with the company's services, and wished to be refunded the difference for services still left unfulfilled, she flat-out refused. She went so far as to say she was entitled to those funds and we had no choice but to pay, she'd take us to 'collections.' We had to seek our refund through the El Paso County court system for which we were awarded a full-refund judgement in our favor. It took over 90 days to receive the judgement in full. In court documents, Casey (owner) stated "continued issues like this could put us out of business." To think, we almost foolishly purchased a long-term program and could be stuck without services if the business can't continue. I expect more from the companies I do business with. I had never felt so abused by a business before, and would NEVER recommend this company to any friend or family. Based on other reviews we have seen since our business concluded, we know we are not alone with these experiences. If you have been a victim of this company, I encourage you to seek damages too through the court system. Businesses should not be permitted to behave like this without accountability.

I live out of state, but my sister-in-law recently started getting meals from Mama Tried while I was visiting. Everything I tried was delicious! Vegan and gluten-free options are hard to come by where I live, so this was an absolute treat. They also use recyclable containers so there's no unnecessary waste. Highly recommend this business!
