My daughter has taken lessons from Tori for 12 years. What I find amazing is that Tori is just as effective working with a 6 year old, patiently helping her learn the basics of the violin, as she is encouraging my daughter to play very difficult pieces for her college auditions. Her patience and love of the instrument instilled in my daughter a love and appreciation of music that has become an integral part of her life. Through Toris guidance our daughter was able to successfully audition into some of the top orchestras in the state. What I also find so wonderful about Tori is her flexibility and willingness to work with my daughter to learn a particular piece of music that is appealing to her. Tori has been a wonderful gift to our family and we feel very lucky that our daughter has had the opportunity to learn under her.

I have had the great fortune of taking private violin lessons with Tori Woodrow for over 12 years. She not only guided the development of my violin skills but also conveyed a deep, personal passion for music that I found to be contagious and inspiring. She made me want to be the best player I could possibly be. Thanks to Toris friendship, guidance, and fantastic instruction I was able to successfully audition into the Cherry Creek High School Chamber Orchestra, the Western States Honor Orchestra, the Colorado All State Orchestra, and the Denver Young Artists Orchestra. Tori was a major positive influence in my life, and I wish every young musician could have a teacher like her! She has planted in me a love of the violin and music that will last me a lifetime, and for that I am extremely grateful.

For nearly ten years, Tori has been a positive influence in our lives, guiding our son through his journey to musicianship. It is hard to imagine the pride we take in his successes without her involvement. Her constant professionalism and continuous encouragement have helped our son realize how routine practice done the right way can build up to achievements one wouldnt think possible. Tori has high standards for her violin students, as most classical musicians would. However, we have observed a special talent unique to Tori, in which she combines the necessary rigor with just the right amount of lenience, patience and variety so as never to overwhelm students and keep their interest engaged. This is especially important at the younger ages and beginner stages.
