Horrible experience with this place. Came in for a consult back in Nov. I had already gotten lab work done with my PC and discovered I had low testosterone. Came in to the office and was asked to fill out paperwork, which is to be expected. I work in a medical office so I know the drill with insurance etc. When speaking to receptionist I wanted to make sure my insurance company (BCBS) would be compatible. She assured me they took my specific plan (which the wound up not taking). Fast forward to the exam. Med technician seemed completely clueless and super uncomfortable talking. Fast forward to NP, upon entering her office I was not greeted and was just told to sit down. Then she proceeds to tell me how great/grand/wonderful she is and how she assists mostly military men. Tells me all about her husband and sons etc. No offense but thats not really why Im here. Spoke to me about my labs (which she finally took after repeating I wasnt filling to pay for more) and said I needed to take hormone pills. This all took 10ish minutes tops. Most if which she just spoke about herself. After leaving her office I went back up to the receptionist and they swore everything would be sent off to start therapy. That if I didnt get a call by next week to two weeks to give them a call. Two weeks go by and nothing. I called the office of the pharmacy I was given and was told they had no records of me. So I called WL and it took me 5 phone calls to even get ahold of someone. Come to find my stuff was never even sent off. Another week goes by and still nothing from the pharmacy. So I call again and still no file on me. Call back to WL and they said the fax never went though (this is twice now). Finally go my meds a month later. It was horrible. Screaming migraines pretty much every day. So I called the office and asked if there was something to be done/ if this was normal. Person on the phone was CLUELESS. Waited nearly a week for a phone call back. To say, yep this has nothing to do with the medication. So I then called the pharmacist, which told me I was having a reaction and to decrease. I then called ML and asked to speak with the NP. Clearly this wasnt going to work and when Im paying out of pocket for the pills I need to to actually do something.Never got a call back. Never was given a second thought. I called several time to find she was out of the country .. Finally just gave up on them. UPDATE AFTER RESPONSE: First and foremost, its called a chief complaint (aka what a pt is needing to be seen for). I understand how relationships are built in a business, and I also understand downtime. However, NEVER in my 10 years as a healthcare professional with the same equivalence as your NP have I spoke about myself more than Ive asked about a patient. Tbh most people could care less. They are there to get their needs met while establishing rapport. Now, back to the basics, when a client has to call an office over and over to make sure their prescription gets sent in thats pathetic. Nor should it take nearly two months for one script. I never made demands and I sure as heck didnt have unrealistic expectations. My expectations dropped immensely after the first three phone calls without so much as a call back and multiple people not knowing how to use a fax machine. I get taking responsibility seems to be an issue for this company. But let me clearly and unequivocally state that my simple retaliation for unrealistic demands (as you so rudely stated) was literally THE BARE MINIMUM OF RUNNING A BUSINESS. Your own pharmacist that YOU recommended the script even told me to not bother calling them. Call me instead. Theyre impossible to get ahold of. So maybe its not just about a bad review. Maybe its just bad business on your end. Lastly, I find it ironic that ever bad review youve gotten youve left nearly the same nasty reply. You might wanna rethink that too.

I am not really wanting to have to post this, but I figure everyone needs to be made aware of the issues with the insurance billing. I have been going to WellLife Medical since June of 2023. My Co pay was 32 dollars at the time with my insurance except for blood draws ect. I did call and brought my issue up with one of the staff and I have waiting for call back from them I have not gotten this issue corrected and now my cost is 150.00 plus a visit compared to what it was. I talked with my insurance company, and they bills have issues with wrong codes and such causing this to cost me more than it should. I have stopped going for treatment because my financials cannot take such as hit weekly. I hope that this will be resolved but I do not hold much hope from reading the other negative comments. The staff is friendly and I have no issues there just with how the billing has been handled. I will revise and update if anything changes.

Our Provider is relational and it is usually respected by 98% of patients. She tries to talk like a normal human being as opposed to simply asking what are you hear for and what do you want. Also our Provider has worked 6 days a week for 8 years and deserves to be able to go on a vacation for her 25th wedding anniversary. We acknowledge that there was a time in September that we grew rapidly and could not hire enough medical assts and on days that we were slammed it may have been difficult to get to every phone calls. We have since hired additional staff and we have adjusted our operations to ensure that we response to every phone calls and email. However, when people call and demand things be done on their timeline and with unrealistic expectations, we at times have to limit our interactions, otherwise they will take up all of our time and severely limit our ability to take proper care of the other 99.9% of patients. Furthermore, this review is simply retaliation for this patients not getting her unrealistic demands met. We will not be held hostage by patients threatening bad reviews if their demands are not met. 99.9% of our patients are very happy with their care at WellLife Medical Centers and we highly value our patients and make every effort to always care for them to the very best of our ability. If I were a patient, I would not take the advice of unreasonable patients but instead take the advice the 99.9% of patients that have had a positive life-changing experience.

Daniel. I am happy to discuss the insurance issue and see if there is something that can be done to assist in resolving the issue for you. Second response: Hi Daniel. Although I offered to try to resolve your issue, you have not provided the necessary info so that I can help you. What you have done thus far is discuss an issue with our junior staff (two of which were brand new), without requesting to talk with our management team. Our management team solves these types issues regularly, and you are welcome to contact us if you truly have an issue that you wish to be addressed and/or corrected. Otherwise, it would be better for you not to inaccurately blame a whole business based on inaccurate insurance information. Why would you trust an insurance company that doesn't want you to use there services and money. Many times insurance companies just blame providers so they do not have to accept responsibility. I have looked through your account and there are several ways to assist you, but the insurance codes and billing are 100% correct. Nevertheless, charges have never been $150 a visit from any insurance; your insurance company is completely wrong. I'm going to speculate that this issue is not important enough to put any effort in to trying to resolve it. Instead, you decide to try to discredit our business, based upon a completely inaccurate comment from an insurance company and without any intent to try to resolve the problem, even after I offer my assistance. And BTW... there are 5 stars you can select for a google review. We have taken care of tens of thousands of patients. And there is always a percentage that will act negatively is they do need get their way. If we make a mistake, we should be held accountable. But when you just don't want to pay for the services you received and your insurance doesn't want to pay for the services you received, you should not just attack us and give us a 1-Star, in an attempt to sabotage our business, and because you did not get your way. I doubt that you have any interest in finding a solution to your problem. If you did, you would have contacted me and given me an opportunity to assist you. Also charges have never been $150 a visit from any insurance; your insurance company is completely wrong. We do investigate any issue that is addressed with us and you have not engaged with us to resolve this issue. You should not spend you time writing bonus, derogatory reviews, but instead work with people to solve your problems. But I doubt that you have any interest in truly finding a solution to your problem. If you did, you would have contacted me and given me an opportunity to assist you.
