Annabelle Guldner came to my home and I immediately felt at ease with her professionalism and knowledge. She took photos of my house and discussed our project at length. We knew we would need a complete design-build solution for our master bathroom/bedroom remodel. We wanted to completely reimagine and remake our space, including adding a master bathroom and closets. From our first meeting with Annabelle and Tim we were extremely comfortable that they would execute the project beautifully and do so with an original design aesthetic (no cookie cutter designs here!). Their original estimate was extremely accurate (even with our picking all the finishings). Annabelle and Tim managed all of the details on the project, were extremely responsive, and only work with prequalified tradespeople (that are amazing to have working in your home). The entire process was stress free for us; Annabelle and Tim took care of every detail. The project was completed on time, under budget, and the quality far exceeded our expectations. We have already recommended designATplay to friends and look forward to working with Annabelle and Tim on future projects in our home. We recently completed a large-scale renovation with designATplay (phase one). Our tastes run to a modern/contemporary aesthetic and we were having difficulty finding something other than the usual in Colorado Springs. Fortunately we discovered Tim and Annabelle and quickly realized they had the great design and building ‘chops’ we were looking for. Throughout the project we found them knowledgeable and professional as well as warm and enthusiastic - very enjoyable to work with. There was no cookie cutter design-build here! At all times they were honest about cost and timing even if it meant we didn’t do work that would profit them. Annabelle was great at keeping us and the build team focused and on track. Annabelle and Tim are both great at communicating issues, answering our questions and were on site almost constantly. Annabelle has a very strong aesthetic sense, Tim is a master builder and, with their great subs, they created a beautiful environment in our home and stunningly beautiful custom walnut cabinets, shelving and vanity. Annabelle, Tim and all the subs were great and we look forward to working with them again for the next phase of our renovation. We only wish we had known how good they were as we would have built a custom home with them rather than remodeling.
