TCF Bank

Literally, thought I was having one of the worst days with an issue where I thought my world was over in that short period of time, but the general manager there truly helped and resolved the issue as soon as I called them on my way to the bank. He was super nice and helped my calm down through my hysteria. I appreciate the workers there and shout out to the manager at this location! :)

Please update your google listing with correct business hours. Just wasted my time going here after 5 and apparently you close at 5 now, even though it says 6pm on every single listing you have online.

My son, who is at the United States Air Force Academy right there, went to open an account at TCF, 7239 N. Academy Blvd. Yes, it was Good Friday and later in the day. I gave two stars only b/c he went late in the day. TCF was suggested by our banker from Huntington in OH (buying TCF), the two people at the branch told my son he needed a Colorado address and ID (ID ha, that is another story). He is there at the academy for college his legal address is still his home in Ohio. The two people at the branch also stated strongly that TCF does not have a footprint in Ohio, this is completely untrue, they do in OH, MI, IN, IL, WI, MN, SD, CO, AZ. He left without opening the account and we ended up just opening it online, which the two people could have suggested, but did not! Oh, and guess what in Ohio on Saturday, I went to the branch about 8 miles away from our home and deposited money. Hmmmm, no footprint in Ohio. Huntington is our home bank and my whole family banks there - they know us by name when we enter, I sure as heck hope that is how TCF ends up once the merger is complete, right now it was a sad experience this past week. I was embarrassed for TCF and hope Huntington values are bestowed in the future, or this was just a one off. We needed an account close and OH ties. Super disappointed in the experience.
