    I would never recommend this company to anyone. Although the cake was beautiful the service was terrible. I have been charged 3 different times for a very expensive cake and have yet to resolve the third charge. I have also made numerous calls and continually receive a voice mail and no one call back. I don't find the web site they originally had either so that makes me wonder if they are still in business.

    In the mood for a good cupcake (or four) I went in to Couture Cupcakes for the first time the other day. I was the only customer, so I doubt I was being much of an imposition, but the attitude of the one employee indicated otherwise. I looked at their display cupcakes (which admittedly looked very good) and asked what flavors they had available. His response was to wave his hand at the cupcake stand and just say, "These ones." I was only able to find out the flavors by asking about specific cupcakes. I ended up buying a couple anyway (craving cupcakes, remember?) and while they did taste good, the peanut butter cupcake didn't taste much like peanut butter, and the key lime cupcake didn't taste much like key lime. It's almost as if they add the flavorings mostly for color. In the end, Couture Cupcakes will do in a pinch, but I'd rather find another bakery with nicer staff and better flavored cupcakes.

    Despite old negative reviews from pervious customers I decided to give this place a shot when my usual connection could not service the event I had planned. All our communication was done over the phone and the order was placed, date set, and money paid to get on the baking schedule. I noticed about three days after I pre paid for the order that I had been double charged on my credit card. I immediately called Joni, the owner, and told her about the charge, she said she had realized it herself and had already made amends to credit my account. I took her to her word and waited the 10-14 business days she said it would take to appear. My event came and went, the product being great, but the credit to my account never appeared. I called her again about it and she said she wasn't sure what happened but she'd call her bank to find out what was wrong and let me know. I never got a phone call. I called her again and that's when my phone calls started getting avoided. I put a stop to the extra transaction on my credit card which made it where I didn't have to pay double, thankfully, but I kept calling her about once a day for two weeks trying to get SOME type of communication about the double charge...to no avail. I drove by their shop to try to talk to a physical person and it was closed (during the day) with a sign on the door saying they were closed for a family emergency. I filed a complaint with the BBB which is still currently pending because Couture Cupcakes has not responded to their inquiry. What's unfortunate about all this, is that their product is great and was ready on time. But considering I was double charged, no attempts at a refund, and can't even get anyone to answer the phone, it wasn't worth the trouble by a long shot.

    Ufortunately, I was very disappointed with Couture cupcakes/Itty bitty cake. The other reviews you read on here are accurate for this company! They are a mess! Do not use this company at all! The baker does not do the baking out of this shop but at her home. I wish I could tell you how their products taste but there was not one thing appetizing in the shop to taste (either time I went). I went to place an order for my son's 3rd birthday party. I called the baker several times to go over exactly what I wanted but she never returned any of my calls! 5 days before the party I finally contacted her (Joni) and she said she would call me back that day and never did! I was so upset and after reading all the reviews, I cancelled my order with them! I had to go in to the shop and tell Levi who then said he couldnt run the transaction, only Joni could. (ofcourse she's never there). He called her on the phone and said okay, she'll refund you the money. But the funny thing, he never even asked any information like credit card #, name, amount. Really??? I had him call Joni again since she wouldnt answer my calls, and provide me a receipt of the refund, which took an arm and leg to get. I know this is going to be an issue. Needless to say, I went to Chef Sugar instead. Walked in there, smelled like a bakery and she accomodated me instantly! Had the cake pops, YUMMY! Go see chef sugar and be done with this place. Dont waste your money or time!
