Dan was recommended to me, he scheduled time that was convenient for me, showed up on time with all the necessary equipment, provided excellent and efficient service and the unit has performed flawlessly ever since. MY ENGINE FELL OUT!!! I had lost on of the cylinders in my engine so I needed a rebuilt engine installed. I was recommended to Dan's. There were issues, they said, about getting the engine there, when after two weeks and one absolute lie, the engine was finally on its way. After they installed it I had engine issues and a new transmission issue. I kept taking my Jeep back to Dan's because it was warranty work. The transmission issue turned out to be, they installed a bolt (in the flex plate) that was sawed off and forced into a hole too small for it. The imbalance it caused cascaded to other transmission issues. I decided it would be cheaper to take it to another mechanic then to continue to try to have Dan's do the warranty work. It turns out that they installed the radiator incorrectly, never installed the vacuum line, over tightened the bolts to both the oil pan and the transmission pan. Then one evening MY ENGINE FELL OUT!!! It was because they put undersized bolts in the new engine mounts and had to force the nuts on by over tightening. This caused them to fail and the engine fell and was only holding on by one bolt. This of course caused a whole slew of other issues. I refuse to pay my last invoice. This is a mediocre shop with questionable business ethics. My friend who recommended Dan's me is now extremely embarrassed for being played the fool by Dan's. Dan, the owner of the shop is very honest, professional, knowledgeable and polite. He gave me an reasonable quote and performed the necessary work to improve the performance of my car's air conditioning system. I will definitely use this shop again.
