I've had the pleasure of traveling with African Wilderness Safaris and highly recommend them! Trip planning was informative with a variety of options to suit our group needs. Our safety, interests and experience were always priority. The safaris were beyond our expectations, with a knowledgeable, informative guide we felt like we were in a National Geographic film! Contact them for any trip to East Africa, you won't be disappointed.

I have had the great experience of traveling with African Wilderness Safaris twice!!! Nderitu and his staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Where ever we traveled, Du had the inside scope on where the best places were to camp, eat, stay and see the wildlife. He has friends through out the whole area and you can tell by the relationships with the others that he is a trusted and well loved individual. He goes way beyond what would normally be expected of a tour guide to make sure that all your needs are met and does it with extreme grace as if it is no bother at all. I can't recommend his outfit enough! IF you are traveling to East Africa, don't hesitate to use this company!!!!

I traveled with a small group of friends to Kenya in the summer of 2017 and we all had a great time, thanks to African Wilderness Safaris! The staff was all welcoming and accommodating. Thanks to their knowledge of the area, everything went smoothly and the trip was stress free! The guest house was clean, the food was delicious, and we were able to use it as a base to visit and explore this amazing country. If I ever make it back to Kenya, I will definitely choose African Wilderness Safaris again! I am happy to recommend them to anyone.

Our party of six traveled with Du several summers ago. He met with us twice before the trip to learn our interests and plan our customized itinerary. We opted to travel by van between sites to maximize our opportunity to see the country and learn about the people. Because of the experience of Du and his guides, we saw the Big 5 by the end of the third day. Traveling with Du and company was flexible and designed to take advantage of those unexpected moments in nature. While bigger tour groups had a fixed schedule, we had some flexibility in our schedule to stay longer on game drives when the viewing was good. One morning we were rousted from bed by a frantic knock. We piled in the vans and exited our lodge to view a group of six or seven lion cubs that were napping just outside of the gate. Du emphasized safety of all types. From guiding our food and drink choices to personal safety in the savannah and the city, Du kept us safe. We would love to travel with Du again. He gave us a trip of a lifetime.
