After spending two years at Sunflower, my daughter is completely Kindergarten-ready. The teachers are incredibly intuitive caregivers and also thoughtful practitioners of the montessori philosophy. As a result, I've witnessed my daughter build confidence and a deep sense of self. The multi-age classroom and outdoor curriculum have helped her cultivate a responsible and nurturing disposition that I hope stays with her for decades to come. Can't recommend enough!

Sunflower is the most magical preschool in Boulder. The staff is spunky, sweet, extremely knowledgeable, and loving.

We had two children go through Sunflower Preschool and have loved it. Our kids joined during the pandemic and hadn't had much social interaction prior. They were both slow to transition between tasks, had some potty accidents, one is a picky eating and one had speech concerns. The teachers were patient and loving yet regimented. As a result, our children thrived and are ready for kindergarten. In addition to all that good stuff, the school is just amazing. It's a mix of nature/montessori/waldorf. I love how much time they spend outside and just how lovely the space it. We love picking up our kids and connecting to the parents and teachers - people we all would be friends with (and are) outside of school.

We live in South Boulder Table Mesa area and our daughter went to Sunflower for two years -- the teachers are so warm and caring, and the outdoor play-based curriculum was perfect for her to enjoy and grow. We love Sunflower!
