Loved this hotel and I'm sad to see it go. The casual and relaxed atmosphere was what really made this place special and I'm hopeful that other companies will mimic the great parts of this company. Great atmosphere, awesome pool area.

We have held a couple of training events here. The hotel dropped in quality significantly over the two year gap between events. Guests at the hotel complained about poor service overall. It's just a run down property that seems to be hiding behind an eco-friendly consciousness. The eco-friendly, which I wholeheartedly support, is not matched by friendly, responsive staff. Some of them can be down right rude, others just disinterested and aloof. There is an occasional hard-working staff, but they only remind one that the service overall is poor. So, for a cheap stay in Boulder, the Outlook is o.k. If you have kids, the pool will make up for the sub-par accommodations. Frankly, it's a surprise they remain in business. Rumors when we were there espoused by the staff centered on the hotel being turned in to housing for students. Not a bad idea...

By far the best hotel bar in five states, no joke. This bar has shots (tequila, whiskey, whatever you like) and good food. Try it sometime, you will find yourself telling friends and family about it.
