After a horrendous hailstorm I went through two other roofers who verbally couldnt perform up to my expectations, leading me to choose Dan's Golden Rule Roofing to install my new Cedar Shake roof. I could not ask for a better finished job than what their crew produced. Frankly, there are not enough superlatives to describe my pleasure in the beautiful job they did.
Not only was I more than pleased with the work performed, but after dealing with two roofing firms first; I was particularly interested in the character of Dan Ruch and his people. As a happy customer, retired college professor and clinical psychologist, I can tell you his integrity is beyond reproach.
Examples of his integrity follow:
1. Dan helped me to obtain a full return of my Insurance funds from the prior roofing firm who could not perform as expected.
2. Met with the insurance adjuster at my home and handled all the paperwork including legitimately billing the Insurance Company for items left out of their estimate.
3. Directed the roofing crew to install a custom molded flashing around my large rock chimney.
4. Installed extra width of Ice and Water Shield at no charge and without building code requiring it. As Dan told me there is only one way to install a roof, and thats the right way.
5. Installed shingles using Stainless Steel nails instead of galvanized nails.
6. Upgraded the underlayment to Rhino synthetic at no additional charge and used a dry-in process to make sure there would be no leaks.
7. Explained the entire process before starting work so I could completely understand what was going to take place and answered all my questions, all of which put my mind at ease.
Golden Rule Roofing did everything he said they would do and exactly as I was told it would happen.
Therefore, he comes highly recommended. Through his tutelage, like Dan, his crew also demonstrated they have integrity as well. This was indicated by their willingness to fulfill the basic tenets as stated in the meaning of integrity, which is doing unto others as you would have them do unto you, The Golden Rule.
