Scott Nelson acted on our behalf when we sold our house in Aurora, Colorado and when we bought a new home in Fountain, Colorado. Scott gave us excellent advice on staging our home for sale and on the price for us to list that would create the best competition among potential buyers. This resulted in our home selling for substantially more than the asking price. Scott did a lot of research into homes available in Fountain and willingly made the drive to Fountain from Denver to show us a number of homes. He found a home for us that fulfilled our wish list. I took two years to let the dust settle on my property management experience (as a tenant) with Rivendell before writing this review in an effort to maintain a level head. The dissonance between how they treat property owners vs. tenants is red flag number one (just read the five star vs. one star reviews). Red flag number two? There was practically no way to get in contact with the team - though they will claim otherwise - especially in the case of an emergency. These two issues plus a litany of experience made it abundantly clear that Rivendell worked hard to make sure we had no contact with our landlord so that they could maintain control of the narrative. In short: I would never recommend Rivendell for property management. I understand that they tried in some ways, which is why this review is two stars, but scraping the bottom of the barrel is not what I would want as a tenant nor as a (now) property owner. (To be clear: I have never dealt with Rivendell for realtor services, which is why this review is strictly focused on property mgmt.)

Lack of communication would be the biggest issue I have with Rivendell. Paid money and followed up with an email to their team hoping to at least get a response one way or another. It's been crickets since. Realtor was decent at best, didn't have much interest in showing the property, just stood in the living area the whole time.
