I agreed with the last post from Rita. Liv city center has ton of excuses for not doing service requests. Twice, I spent the entire morning to wait for technicians to show up, and nobody did. The quality of the construction is below average.

UPDATE: Century is now refusing to fix the defect and this is after creating a hole in my ceiling. The manager Joel invaded my privacy in my home and then decided he was going to call the repair off. Fortunately, I have everything documented and will take this company to court. There are a few other defects with my home including water heater issues that Century contractors cannot resolve four months after I first reported the issue. Oh, and did I mention a Century contractor punctured my cabinet walls from outside my unit (I can't make this stuff up! 🤦🏾‍♀️🤯). Apparently the company has a habit of building defective homes in Aurora (Google "Burg Simpson Construction Defect Team Secures $19 Million Arbitration Award" for more details). ------------------------------------------------------------- I'm sharing this information as a warning to potential homebuyers interested in LIV City Center or Century Communities. I moved to this community last September thinking I wouldn't have any issue with a new build, but I was wrong. Three weeks after moving in a faint thump noise started in the ceiling. I called Century to investigate but they stalled the inspection with many excuses. With every week, the thump became louder and louder affecting my ability to sleep. Century continued to stall the inspection by sending over contractors who were not interested in resolving the issue and who claimed they couldn't replicate (hear) the noise, even though the noise is LOUD and can be heard from all rooms in my unit and over the phone. About six months later, they finally admitted they didn't know what was wrong and that they would need to tear down the drywall and investigate. They now say they can't guarantee they will fix it and they won't restore the aesthetics of the drywall to its original state. I was told a big patch will be visible in the ceiling where the kitchen and living room is. This is despite having a one-year warranty that Century is suppose to honor. In addition, my unit came with two parking permits, but the HOA is now illegally trying to reduce it to one permit. Finding parking here is a nigthmare. Furthermore, the HOA rarely responds in a timely manner to anything and most of the time it doesn't respond at all. Making this whole matter worst, is dog waste littering the ground, which the HOA refuses to do anything about. The residence here allow their dogs to urine in the white snow near patios, residental windows, the mailbox, and on walkways. It's become a health hazard for me and an environmental hazard to the community. I no longer open my windows because the smell lurks into my house. Lastly, I can hear all the noise from the unit above me. In summary, I regret moving to this community and buying from Century. I hope this helps someone from making a terrible mistake. I wish someone would have posted a warning message on here prior to me moving in. Service: New construction
