Michael Firstenberg

Dr. Firstenberg is excellent. He took the time to talk with us about the surgery and what was going to happen. He did a wonderful job and I would recommend him completely. He is what all surgeons should be like.

I went to the hospital on June 20, 2019 after a 8 hr shift because I wasn't feeling good. And thanks to Dr Firstenbeg I am here to say Thank you for saving my life. I had triple bypass and did not know anything was wrong with my heart. Thank you Dr Firstenberg for giving me my life

My appointments and discussions with Dr. Firstenberg were not positive. He said he would get back to me soon. Soon was at least a couple of weeks. Then the next time I heard from him and my cardiologist they were scheduling and angiogr followed by then surgery. Doctors at Mayo, UC, and Cleveland said no surgery was needed and it would not benefit my condition. I would never go back to see Dr. Firstenberg again.

Dr. Firstenberg saved my life! Not only did he replace my damaged mitral valve but he performed several other intricate procedures to improve the quality of my life. Dr. Firstenberg was understanding, compassionate and a true master of his profession in cardio-thoracic surgery.
