So this was my second time going to chase automotive. I went in for what should have been a fuel pump replacement that should have taken 1 day. Well maybe my Jeep was there, I was contacted about my water pump leaking really bad and they wanted to change it for an absurd amount of money. I declined as I have a person to do it for less than half of what they charged. Not uncommon for them or some other auto bodies to do given it is their bread and butter. So the evening came for my vehicle to be picked up, and I was unable to get it so my son went. Took the Jeep home and left it idol until the day I was taking it to have the water pump and hoses replaced. When starting the Jeep there was a knocking at the top of my engine, that was not there prior to taking it in. When I called the rep said you didn’t hear it when you left, he knew I didn’t pick up the Jeep. I said no and I just started it to go have the water pump replaced. He says well we can diagnose it for $280 something dollars. I was like you already got me for $1400.00 and that was like $500.00 over dealership charges. I ask if they heard it before releasing the Jeep. Of course they said no. There was no compassion or empathy there. I won’t take any of my vehicles back. Wether you choose to go here or not, always way your options and get at least two quotes before settling with one place.
