The view and the food are great but service not so great! We were ignored after we sat and when he finally came around , not so nice. We were 4 people and they charged 20% gratuity bc we shared a dish. I got the feeling that we were ignored bc I was hispanic and two friends were Asian. Will never go back

We had such high expectations, but this place did not live up to the hype. First, know it’s a Prix Fix place at $40 per person for 2 courses. And the free “come with apps” are tiny soup or small basic salad. The fun apps are $20/$40 additional - for things like trout dip. I thought the prices were outrageous for the quality of food - burgers, bratwurst, basic chicken. Our billl for 4 people with 2 drinks each was $440. So it’s not some “quaint mountain hole in wall” like we thought. A pretentious Aspen menu prices with a ski lodge casual vibe. The views are def pretty, but drive up and back much better views. And most tables not near a window. I had to really push the hostess to get a window table for view. Food is B plus at best. My trout entree was tiny and overdone. They add the tip on too which is normally fine. However, the service was awful. Our waitress did not bring my 2nd glass of wine until we were done and only after I stood up to finally flag her down. She left water glasses empty and basically ignored us much of time. If tip not included she’s would have gotten far less - so the wait staff knows they get paid well regardless of quality of service. We won’t be back. Too many nicer places to drop $400 plus for a Sunday lunch at 3:30 pm.
