Aspen Goldsmith

Our family vacations in the area twice a year, and each trip we make sure to visit the Aspen Goldsmith! They have the best charms and charm bracelets! One of our family traditions is to select several 14-karat gold charms for our children that relate to the memories from their vacation (a snowmobile charm for our tour, a crutch charm for Amanda when she sprained her ankle skiing, the list goes on and on). The store manager, Cynthia, is one of the main reasons that we love this store. Simply excellent service, quality and never pushy. I highly recommend this store.

Recently I had the experience of working with Aspen Goldsmith to have an engagement ring valued and resized. For the $150 valuation price tag, I was bitterly disappointed with the lack of detail in the appraisal. In the future I will definitely not be getting another appraisal there. A photograph inlaid on the valuation would be a valuable aid to the description. The jewellers credentials were not listed on the piece of paper, and it is not completed on official letterhead. I was foolish enough to return to get the ring resized there also - the customer service was not befitting of the $70 price tag. The ring was only taken down half a size. We were not happy with the shape of the ring after the sizing, but the jeweller was not happy to hear of my concerns. I would strongly discourage people from using this business for manufacturing or valuing services in the future.
