You can't beat this place. One of the best french restaurants I've ever been at, and I've traveled a lot in france. Try the escargots and the bone marrow for appetizers. For main course, go with the rabbit papardelle - trust me. It's not the Easter bunny or bugs bunny, it's just a rabbit. It's already dead. Get over and eat it. It's unbelievable! For desert, would recommend the brioche pudding.

We have been to Yountville a number of times - but finally had the opportunity to stop into Bistro Jeanty for lunch on Friday afternoon. The specials board was filled with items we wanted to try so my wife and I split the crispy pigs feet, the crab souffle and the salmon wrapped in panchetta...it was all so delicious we made reservations for dinner on Sunday night so we could come back and try a few items off of the regular menu (cassoulet, Sole, peas & carrots) and everything lived up to our expectations. Both times we visited, we immediately felt transported to a small Cafe in France. Love this spot - and in discussing with some locals, it is definitely a favorite of theirs as well, so it is far from a "tourist trap". Can't wait to eat here again on our next visit.
