Would certainly recommend trying out this place. Excellent character, delicious food, fantastic customer service. They never disappoint.

So sad to have seen this eatery close. It was my favorite in Willits. Covid-19 times. 😔
We love this place. This bowl is especially delicious and my other go-to is the curry chicken broth soup- add avocado and jalepeno for something truly delightful. My kids and husband prefer the Rocky chicken. The staff are friendly and considerate.

What an amazing stumble-upon discovery. We were on a little detour from 101 to the taco bell and instead decided on a whim to try this Japanese station out.
I think within 10 seconds of entering we knew we had found something unusual and quite amazing. Being massive Miyazaki fans, the posters of Castle in the Sky, Totoro and Kiki were like a refreshing glass of Chūhai (Kiki was also playing on the TV).
We knew there was no way the food was going to disappoint and it didn't. The tempura was steamy and satisfying with shrimp, squash, broccoli and carrots. The Willits miso ramen was delicious but the spicy coconut red curry ramen with tofu blew us away. There were some unique aspects such as sliced tomatoes, a floating lemon and crunchy noodle pieces which softened into the hot broth. A large floating squash slice was a delicious addition. It came in a large pleasant-blue ceramic bowl and looked as good as it tasted.
