Paid Bernie to refinish two guitar bodies. He disappeared with my money. Do not trust this guy.

I paid up front to have a guitar body finished, and mailed the guitar body to Bernie. After several months, no response. The work was never completed. I disputed the transaction and received a full refund through PayPal (since he didn't respond). However, I never got the guitar body back. This guy is a crook.

Just got my jazz bass neck and body The neck is very nice except for the sloppy cut of the nut slot. I ordered custom options and was expecting perfection, instead I got good/ok if your not picky. I ordered a body wich is nice, not to heavy, buy the neck is a little(lot) loose in the pocket. Its nice stuff but I dont think I will order my next neck from them.

I brought my 90's Squire Strat to Guitar Alley to essentially be refurbished. It had been sitting in its case for a long time before I dug it out of the closet and realized that it needed a great deal of work. Mr. Hefner did a fantastic job on it and it plays, sounds, feels, and looks great. The staff are very friendly and are willing to help you out and accommodate your needs. The only reason why I did not give a full 5 stars is because it did take a while for me to get my guitar back, although I do know much work needed to be done (full polish, fretwork, some rewiring, new tuners, etc.). The fact that they get a lot of business probably contributed to this as well. I think their hours are a bit limiting if you have a busy schedule but they are willing to work with you to make sure you are taken care of. Overall, I had a very good experience interacting with the staff and am more than pleased with how my guitar turned out. I am definitely going to do future business with them if I need it and would highly recommend this company.
